In my BTS games, we normally cast actors to play our characters, so everyone at the table is on the same page. This thread is for character pictures and biographies. It's far from a comprehensive list, so if you want me to add your character, you can pm me here, or pm Willie Long at Lazlo.

Edit: To make things easy on me, here is a link to the Lazlo Society timeline.

Well, since apparently I'm not going to be asked, even after mentioning it... I would have Razor/Jake played by Gerard Butler. Longer-haired and clean-shaven, not the Leonitus look. More like the Dracula 2000 look.

I'm sorry, Tearstone, I was sick last weekend and wasn't thinking straight. I'd thought I'd already asked you about Razor. IIRC, all the BTS psis are master-level: is he a physical, a pyro, or a latent?

I based him directly off a mind-melter. he's all across the board, but with a conversion for the whole proximity to the paranormal rules.

Three new characters; dead links fixed -- I think. Did I get the right character for Natasha?

Jeffar, can you un-sticky Gallery I and sticky this one?

Good to go for Natasha's actor.

Here's the updated image for Katja (kalle); her player's decided to fire Prepon and hire Scarlett.

Magdalena's player has also supplied an actor to play Magdalena: Elizabeth Peña.

Just imagine laznat with black-rimmed eye glasses, more or less sleek and stylish, and an ear buds leading to her mp3 player.

That's a nice picture of Scarlett. I had to look Elizabeth Peña up though; she was in Jacob's Ladder!

Looking good Sir Neil! I'll try to get a pic set for whoever else I'm missing (I think I'll have Tabloid Hound's pic soon).

What is just me, or did Gillian Anderson play her?
According to broken link it is Kristen Bell who plays Elle Bishop on the TV show Heroes.

Maybe it changed some time though.

So I bothered pariah (Natasha) and skeptic (my friend, Alexei) and we can add to the cast:
  • pariah - latent psychic (who doesn't know it), street punk.
  • skeptic - aka, Sebastian. Nega-psychic, psychic investigator and psychologist.

Oops -- didn't mean for it to read like I was snapping at you. I thought it would sound like a bumbling cover-up attempt, like you'd see in comedy movies, or Disney television shows, like Hanna Montana.

Father Johnathan (FriarJohn) looks like the dark haired, younger monk with the glasses found here: http://www.abbeycaskets.com/images/MonksPraying.jpg.The difference is that he wears a large St Michel's medal over the scapular, and walks with a cain.

Scapular?

The apron like garment he has his hands under. The main robe is called a "tunic" and the wide sleeved over garment the older monks in the front row is called a "cucula" or "cicula" and is the ancestor of the modern academic gowns we wear at graduations and the like.

Thank you, I could have looked it up myself, but I would have forgotten. This way, I learn a new word. So is Friar John a Benedictian, Jesuit, Fransican, or Tapist? Also, a link to a picture of a St. Micheal's medal might be fun.

My bad, I tend to forget that not everybody understands the lingo.

He's an Anglican Augustinian. Benedictines are typicly called Monks and sometimes Canons since they are cloistered. Friars (Franciscans, Dominicans, Carmelites, and (some) Agustinians) are "apostolic," meaning that they have jobs (pastering Churches, teaching outside the monastic grounds, preaching in the streets, serving as doctors, nurses, and the like) that take them outside the monastic setting, but still live in community and follow a Rule, and have a superior.
As luck would have it, Jonathan's supirior is distracted and on another continent.

I'm hunting up a good pic of the meadel that shows the detail.

Turns out I just had to ask googel the right way. A link to the medal the way I saw it in my minds eye, more or less, can be seen here:

http://www.petpeoplesplace.com/petstore ... 909155.jpg

The one he wears is about 3" in diamiter and the inscription, translated:

"St Michael, Archangel, pray for us."

That is an interesting character, FJ00. If he is apostolic, what is his second job?

Lord Z wrote:That is an interesting character, FJ00. If he is apostolic, what is his second job?

Interesting question.
As he says over on Lazlo Society, he's in a sort of in semi retirement due to "medical reasons." He's under some sort of lingering curse that took his propensity for arthritis and ran with it. He's on disability pay, both Social Security and Church Pension Fund. His "official" position is as a Spiritual Director and Confessor for clergy. he's not listed as a hermit, but that is essentially what he is. He was drawn to the Lazlo Society web-sight and decided to see if he could help.
