I ran into this problem yesterday when trying to log in an alt. I'd used up all the password attempts but couldn't see the confirmation code after I kept trying. I don't know what the problem is.

You could try PMing Mordred over there about the issue.

These characters look interesting. I would participate more, but I am away from home without good internet access almost all the time these days. My mobile internet browser hates Palladium's forums, so I catch up at the Forums of the Megaverse here when I can, and that is about all I can manage.

Aw, I was thinking that The Monkey's Paw would be an excellent story for the Truth in Literature thread at the .org. The stories in that thread, however, are supposed to have been written in the last hundred years. The Monkey's Paw was written in 1902, out of the range by only 10 years.

On the other hand, 1902 is the year in which I set many of the events of the Court of Tarot narratives. Perhaps some real events inspired W. W. Jacobs to write the story...

It's close enough, I say use it. Besides, I'm rather fond of that story as well. And if you can weave in a Court of Tarot reference, so much the better.

What is the Shard of the VI? How did it create Cee? I thought she was a vampire?

Im so confused.....

PS: Wie also had the "Book" from the old man when she last visited Cypress Cove. That needs to stay out of the wrong hands still....

Spoiler:
it holds a lot of danger magic including the ritual that created the Cypress Cove Nexus.

What did she do with that book.

Maybe the man she lived with for over a year has some idea what happened to it or maybe they just accepted there would remain some secrets between them.

So Elfgirl, do you really plan to bring back our favorite vampire heroine or is this just "an idea in the works."

I actually miss Celeste. She was a great character and I have dabbled in ways to bring her back myself. :D Its not that I don't like Wie, but Cee was just a better character. When compared to each other, Celeste just had more meat on her bones, whereas Wie just seems hollow. Just my opinion of course.

I also miss some of the others guys like Bert and KT. They were really great chraracters to game with. ANyone know what happed to either of them?

...well it doesn't -have- to be about cosmic events...

Personally I've been leaning back towards much smaller things with my characters.

They are talking about actual cosmic events, which can big or small, depending upon the idea.

Well we don't want Scotty writing posts. :) But he is participating in the cornfields adventure.

As for the character it is going to be a mix of Latent and Medium: a sort of out of control ability that can only experience only pain. It's been on hold for a few years actually. Maybe I'll get to it this summer..... ;)

NMI, Wayne, or to whom it may concern:

I hope I'm not jumping the gun with this, but I signed up at the Lazlo Society Forums a little over a month ago and while regular login 'tests' indicate the first step went properly (i.e., it told me my character & account was waiting to be activated but had not yet been made so) up to a couple of days ago, there's been no change nor any message at my supplied email address (it's the same one I registered with here on the Megaverse Forums) indicating if or what changes need to be made to continue with it. I also posted a PM to Wayne Smith here on the Forums a week and a half ago (I was under the impression at the time that he was a big part of running the Lazlo Society setup) which is still in my 'Sent' folder, i.e. he hasn't accepted it, as I understand the system.

It may very well be that registrations are fewer and further between at this point, so it's entirely possible mine just hasn't been gotten to. Given that I haven't heard from anyone yet or seen any changes to my status in the last month, however, I thought posting this was reasonable. Would either of you, NMI or Wayne, please post me regarding it?

Thanks.

-Boe.

Nimmy, question. Do you have to use different emails for every new 'character' type account on the Lazlo boards, or can you use a previously used email, tying more than one character to that email address?
