After the helicopter crash, the group recovers and now is on the run. Some party members are missing, but they can’t take too much time as they are being run down by a horde of what looks like zombies. The group takes it to the streets to find a car and figure out what happened to Mike’s Family. After some debating they head over to the WinCo Food Mart and encounter some survivors who seem to be “good”.

Nice, I was wondering what happened to the podcast.
Once those two new characters entered into the game,
that's when it became a real DR game.

Having characters at each other throats is a good plus, especially if one is bit; it also helps to have direction in these types of games, besides survival (which Mike beings).

I just don't think DR is made for a generic survival romp, though I'd also assert that no system is. At this point you just have a random looter game, might as well be playing Zomboid or State of Decay. Same applies to a space exploration romp via 3G/Dimensions, might as well be playing Starbound instead.

Point is, the current directions looks promising and the podcast is entertaining.

Glad you are enjoying. I am trying here. I am introducing some mysterious people and things happen. I've strayed from the book as far as how things are and how the "Zombies" have so much protection. I want it to be fast paced and mimic TV shows like Black Summer. The group overall seemed to enjoy that when I discussed it with them.

Great! We’ll be doing new episodes soon, was just waiting for the band to be back together.

Holidays and work schedule at the end and start of the new year is a bit rough. Might be changing the game up a bit, using the same characters and opening a Rift

Does anybody know if there is some kind of program we could run to generate transcripts based on podcasts without manually typing them out?

I could see that being useful for hearing-impaired roleplayers, or for those of us who read faster than people talk, or who want to be able to easily refer to past conversation and similar.

The only place I know of is headliner.app as it takes your RSS feed and makes it into visual video samples for sharing on social media or youtube. There is an option to turn on transcripting, but its not that great.
