Seattle based campaign

Unread post by Trooper Jim »

I just started running a TMNT / Ninjas and Superspies campaign based is Seattle. Of course it is a grittier version of the city with a much higher crime rate, free roaming gangs, corrupt politicians an understaffed police force and shadowy ninja clan bent on world domination.

Up to this point the PCs have had a few run ins with a P.M.C. company working as a rent a cops for the city. The have also witnessed the aftermath of several terrorist attacks, such an attack on The port of Tacoma that resulted in the port being crippled and a major bombing in the downtown area.

Of course they have also made some friends. One being a clan of Ninja mice. And group of feral mutant animals living in the woods near the city of Monroe.

Dang! That sounds very cool and complex! Better than anything I came up with for ATB.

Is the shadowy ninja clan behind the terrorist attacks? Can't wait to find out.

And a clan of Ninja Mice! Sounds too cute--- til they stick you with shuriken in your eyes.

This is all very cool stuff so far.

They are good guys. The master is a human that had helped them escape from a bio tech lab, and raised them. The Mice's mentor was once a member of the "shadowy" Ninjas and he is in hiding currently.

Does Seattle have nice expansive sewers to lurk around in, or a buried and nigh-forgotten city laying beneath the streets? Seems like there are more of those around in the US and abroad than people realize.
Fair warning: I consider being called a munchkin a highly offensive slur and do report people when they err in doing so.

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.

Actually we have the "Underground Seattle" and a few steam tunnels and all kinds of places were enterprising mutant animals can lurk.
