*smacks doom*

He wanted a serious answer, and you give him a silly little creature that deliberately goes around drawing attention to himself?! Shame on you! ;)

How about a Wilderness Scout?

One of the Indian OCCs from the New West/Mystic West books?

One of the Yeti R/OCC's from Canada?

Special Forces (Mercenaries) streamlined as a super sniper?

A Chiang-Ku tattoo-master?
A Chiang-Ku anything.

The Trianx/NGR 'borg that is actually capable of prowling? (Triax)

The Infiltrator 'Borg (Triax) ... however, this one only really works if you're tossing them against alot of gargs!

If you're playing a lot of night missions... Secondary Vamp...

(Most) of the Weres (esp tiger, wolf, and jaguar) work good here too...
Fnord

Cool...I've been FAQed... atleast twice!

They are thieves who can teleport.
What better could you hope for? :-D

I dunno... while the Mystic Ninja's cool and all, unless your campaign is set in Japan it's a little hard to rationalize his/her presence.

As for Rifts-specific characters, I'd pretty much recommend the Psi-Ghost, the Super-Spy, and the Professional Thief.

If you wanted to get a little funkier, grab your copy of HU2/PU1 and give a scholar/adventurer OCC a few stealth-oriented super powers such as Chameleon, Bend Light, Cloaking, Invisibility, etc.

Go with a Crazy; hell, they're even described as being ninja-esque in the darn RMB!

Lanotaur Hunters, Psi-Slayers, B-K Headhunters, Smoke Soldier all come to mind, and haven't been mentioned. I know the decision has already been made, but there are really a ton of spy/thief/assassin types out there.

why's he dead?

I really wanted to have my character marked for assasination by someone in his past, and have my new character be the assasin, then asume his place...

take the party down with you.

then I'll recommend you just play a mega hero or sumthin.

sounds like the rest of your group dosn't go for stealth.

My GM made the mistake of letting us use N&SS martial arts. I have an Atlantean who spent all of his tatto slots to make his sword ungodly and ninjitsu. Hehehehe! Last week I backstabbed a high lord in the head, then used the mystic invisibility power to disappear in the middle of the crowd. He was pissed. Im still doing my happy dance over that one.

Im with Nekira. If you gotta go, dont go alone. After all, isnt that what friends are for? :D

With the right combination of skills, equipment, and RP style, anything can be stealthy!

Instead of bragging, just explain how you created that char...
BTW, when you say, CRAZY modifiers, I suppose you mean "insanely high" rather than "due to MOM conversion", don't you?

So your doing your 1 good deed for life :D Doesnt matter how powerfull the other characters are, after all "there isnt any problem in the world that cant be solved with enough fussion blocks". Dont remember who first said it, but it's sooooo true : :bandit:

Let's see...

Mystic ninja (as afore mentioned), Ninja-juicer, Ninja-borg, Juicer Assasin, any of the Indian Man at Arms OCCs from Spirit West (as afore mentioned). Special forces, CS Nautical Specialist (SEAL)

aside form these OCC's specifically targeting the use of "sneakiness", if you take the skills prowl and acrobatics you get a pretty hefty bonus, and if you also take gymnastics then that's another hefty prowl bonus :D

Just what I thought, pure munchkin stuff with no business existing in the firt place, at least not in a game that is remotely standard... a Lone star experiment would not get anything to do with Bio E . Also, in Rifts North America, there's just no way you'll find instruction for N&SS style Tae Kwon Do (in Korea maybe, but certainly nowhere else). No problem for the sniping skill... though the cost for two sharpshooting skills would be insane, even if a GM allowed a master psionic to take them, which would be a house rule all by itself... So yeah, the background story had better be GOOD to even entice a normal (as in, non Munchkin/Ultra Power Player favorable)GM to say yes.

Of course... if your GM like uber stuff and is easy with massive crossovers... well, it's still possible, though myself, I don't like characters that contrived.

BTW, if Regeneration is in Trans D, just where? and where is that life force accelerator from?
