Winnebago Pegasus Air-Rover

Winnebago “Pegasus” Air-Rover

History:
An intrepid explorer and Operator recently uncovered the remains of the Pre-Rifts Winnebago RV factory near Ishpeming and after several years of work and heavy monetary investments the factory is once again producing flying vacation homes. Due to Coalition laws they are notable to provide the Air-Rovers on the Open Market but the company is more than happy to direct customers to another company that will outfit their new purchase with a wide variety of defensive and offensive weaponry for a good price. That both companies are owned by the same person is largely irrelevant as far as the Coalition is concerned.

I know it's not a terribly exciting vehicle or history, but its an RV...how exciting are they really? 8)

Very exciting, if you're stuck in one surrounded by satanic cultists or zombies.
Then you roll down the armored louvres, crank up the arse-kicking music, roll out the chain saws, power up the laser cannon, and it becomes all too exciting for THEM.

Also pretty exciting when driven by Lone Starr and Barf.

Got to meet Michael Winslow (among the many, many talented people I have met). He does a bit where he does the a Star Wars scene with the Millenium Falcon battling Ties and he does all the sound effects and voices. He rips on Leia's "cinnibons". Also he signed my UFO Drivers License. Definitely a highlight in my existence.

They're well-regulated, but not banned; there's PSI-NET, which is essentially the Psi-Cops, and they have some specialized hardware developed especially for them.

Darc Helmut's of a cadet branch(the Helmuts, with such luminaries gracing it as 'Crash', Peth, Soike, and Astro Helmut) and of the Prosek family; one of the branches from the side of the family they don't like to talk about. Darc thinks that serving the Emperor loyally and fanatically's the way to suck up, not so much to be in a position to gain political power, but to be invited to all the good parties. The Emp and his immediate family really wish that the Helmuts would be a bit MORE loyal and fanatical to the cause, as in loyal to the death...it would be infinitely easier to say nice things at the funeral(s) with a straight face than to actually put up with them at any sort of family gathering...

Sad about the Helmuts, such a waste of talent...that could be put in their place to do some real good.
Could be worse though, could be those cross-eyed, inbred Icewholes. Damn things are everywhere. Seems like everyone is an Icewhole, or at least act like one now and again.

Some families breed for aristocratic connections, others for money, still others for good looks and the right karma. Some families just breed.

Mmm AMA...(Ablative Meat Armor) saves you and can make for an excellent protein source in the aftermath of a gruelling battle!

...so need to have a bad guy do that; Strap prisoners to the outside of their vehicle and drive around like that. Heck put armor on the prisoners a well! Who needs a Body shield when you can have the ABSDS (Armored Body Shield Defense System)!

Then watch his expression as you prove you're even more evil than he is by shooting the hostages, then drawing a bead on him, and stating flatly "Now that that's out of the way..."

Sooo off topic, but imagine that Winnebago with a bunch of bleeding bodies strapped to it and crewed by a bunch of Reavers (As In the Firelfy show). THAT would be some kind of creepy...

Make them Zombie/NecroJuicers....they're pretty ugly and vicious and should suit your needs for macabre nasty bastards well enough.

Renfield, I like your Pegasus Air-Rover! It's like my Hover Home design, but bigger and (I admit) a bit better. Kudos to you for a very good design!

If you mean Murder-Wraiths that would be a lot too much...8P
And Zombies are generally to dumb to drive...then again putting a bunch of zombies in armor and strapping THEM to the RV might not be quite so evil...until people get to close and realize that though they are dead, they can still attack...*grin*

Ablative Zombie Armor? Might work...just be careful not to open the windows...and it's a lot less tacky than Live Kitten Wallpaper...

Yeah plus kittens aren't MDC and finding armor for them is a stone B***H. Though I suppose you could just stuff them in MDC helmets and glue the helmets to the sides of the RV. Not to mention, helmets are a hard target to hit; the rules don't state that the helmet actually have to be on the rest of the armor to be hard to hit...

Biowizardry-enhanced kittens...sure they're expensive, but who expects an MDC mouser?
Plus, with a high enough regeneration rate, your cat can scoff at the idea of having only NINE lives.
