What race (none human) would you guys be in the World of Rifts .. if you could only choose 1 time to live out the rest of you're natural life as that one single race on Rifts earth ?

I would only want to be a human. Why would I want to be a monster when I can play the epitome of freedom? Consider humans can be any OCC. They can have any set of powers. They can go anywhere. Do just about anythign with the right technology or magic. And they are still human.

I would be a Dog Boy.
If I could choose a breed, I'd go for Labrador Retriever.

Why? I love the CS. I could never be an officer and probably never be an NCO but I could still be in the CS Army. I'd be a Lab so I'd be faithful to my "pack" be they humans or Dog Boys and I'd love hunting.

When in Afghanistan, I've had a chance to meet different dog handlers from across NATO. The Labs do a great job and their owners and them get along so well...

If I couldn't be a Dog Boy and wasn't allowed to play a human...Shoot...True Atlantean, Elf, Dwarf or Changling.

Only other thing would be an auto-G...this way I could be a whole lot of different races.

I don't see choosing a dragon as being munchkin or plain, it just seems like the obvious and safe choice.

Yeah, they don't look like much - like a small child or a teenager iirc. I was mentioned in Manhunter that almost all the organizations in the book had bounties out for info on how to kill a Mulka - which leads me to conclude that they must make neuisaces of themselves.
None of those bounties have ever been paid out either.

None of those bounties have ever been paid out either.

It was one of them books that I never did like.

On one hand...I don't care. But on another...I think it did so bad that that pretty much made it impossible for other companies to publish Rift material...which sucked.

Have some godlike being that the PCs would have to pussyfoot around, because supposedly they were trying to make up their minds whether to help or seriously screw over the various races in the galaxy/universe...and because nobody really knows if they were serious or frauds.
Think if the 'Squire of Gothos' or 'Q' was auditing your workplace and accompanying you on your day....

And I consider Humanity to be a state of mind..Lot of 100% pureblood human people in our modern day who have minds and attitudes I'd describe as INhuman...

They're a concept that has been kicking quietly around Sci-Fi for quite a while- aliens with god-like power who only really use the power to annoy other races.
They're not something that you'd have the party fight, and if you did, the party would lose (though probably none of them would be killed).
