Zentreadi triage

Unread post by Jockitch74 »

So, was thinking about this the other night. Post-Rain... now that many of the Zentraedi are integrated into Earth's culture and still have yet to be micronized... how do paramedics/doctors/field medics deal with wounded full-sized Zentraedi? refitted Vfs and Gladiators or other mecha? Full-sized Zentraedi? ideas?

the basic them to all the medical options for full sized Zents would be to get them to the nearest auto-doc in a landed/crashed ship.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

That's fine and dandy, but not going to help them if they need treatment on the spot. Even something simple as mouth to mouth would be a hastle

train some zents to be paramedics, then macronize them. special hardware is easy, you just need screens and interfaces big enough. the actual processing stuff can be built into the device and still be portable.

the big problem is making enough medication and making zentreadi sized pills and syringes...

Zentraedi probably have some basic equipment already..but not a terrible lot, but yes, I'd say train volunteers, re-macronize them, and give them a crash kit...Bandages are probably going to be canvas and nylon, with sponge absorbant pads, and you're probably talking parachute cord for sutures...and yard-look surgical needles...
Syringes...needle's probably pipe stock, and the barrel's extruded lexan or polyacrylic pipe...

As Max was Macroed in DYRL then just Macro some human doctors or train them in robot control and use the mini-arms in the VF-1 series for surgury

as for the chicken wings let Lang experiment with the flowers of life and chickens he will either develop a new enemy race or giant juicy halucingenic chickens, goes well with Tabasco and heiniken :D :crane:

We're talking economies and manufacture of HUMONGOUS scale here, for both utility items and luxuries...

Hey, I had a rough draft of a Gladiator or a Battloid 'Nanny-Trainer' with a folding carry-cradle for Zentraedi infants(in place of the nose armaments on the Gladiator), and diaper-changing supplies and bottle-warmers in place of the missile racks...Big padded mitts for handling little kids, smiley-face light in place of the head lasers, and all painted in kid-friendly colors(like light purple and white, for example)

Face it...when you're dealing with a 500-lb plus infant's dirty diapers...you WANT several inches of megadamage armor and a fully enclosed environmental system between you and it...

In the post Rain of Death seting where this would be, everything was recycled, by necessity, I thought. The diapers would be as well.
