Hello,

I'm a returning player and am set to GM some TMNT for the first time in more than 30 years this weekend. I'm looking for some simple stat blocks for common NPCs/enemies and can't seem to find anything useful.

I need things like:

-Human street thug/gang banger
-Security guard (armed with nightstick and/or pepper spray)
-Average patrol police officer

Is there a sourcebook somewhere with a nice set of stat blocks or is this something I'll need to throw together myself.

Several stat blocks for common thugs can be found in Truckin' Turtles and Turtles Go Hollywood. Secret Agent types (Office of Mutant Affairs) can be found in the Magic of Palladium Books that you could use to stat policemen. All of these are out of print, and I don't know which ones are available on PDF.

Personally, I'd give Security Guards Hand-to Hand Basic (1st Level), maybe 10 SDC and 9+1D6 HP, and no stat bonuses with appropriate Weapon Proficiencies. Patrol Officers would be Level 2 or 3, 20 SDC and 12+2D6 HP, Hand to Hand Basic with appropriate Weapon Proficiencies. Gang Bangers Level 1 or 2 Hand to Hand Basic, 15 SDC and 10+1D6 HP, and appropriate Weapon Proficiencies. If they're not stars there's no need to give elaborate stats. Adjust up for more formidable foes or if you think my ideas are weak-sauce. That's just me though.

ETA: Heroes Unlimited 1st/Revised Editions have tables for quick roll villains, including all sorts of common bad guys, from thugs to crime bosses. If you're looking for something more in print, the Heroes Unlimited GMs Guide reprints them. For TMNT & Other Strageness, I'd look for HU Revised, as it jives with the other sourcebooks, but you do you :D

Thanks those will likely do the trick. I was thinking something similar in regards to security guards in particular. Going to see if I can track down that book though...

Here it is. I DID NOT MAKE THIS, but I cannot remember who did. If someone knows I would love to give them credit.


Note: Secondary skills were intentionally omitted (except for Pilot Automobile where appropriate). Thus if a GM wants to “power up” one of the villains with physical skills then he or she should feel free to do so. It should also keep players on their heels as to what an NPC is capable of.
