The Rolling Thunder Combat Truck has a minelayer. It is awesome. I thought I'd throw that out. That vehicle is incredible for the price... and the minelayer gives it a nice backup weapon for escaping, not to mention just making minefields.
Otherwise, mines can be a lot of fun. You can use them as ...

I have dealt with them, both as an enemy I throw at a group, as a player in my game, and a member of a party I played with. In my experience, they are insanely dangerous if not handled quickly at medium ranges provided they are sporting decent hardware (dual pump pistols, or a Big Bore Six Shooter ...

While this has been thrilling, in the end, I still think magic itself is still too powerful, and unbalanced in it's current state.
It's power comes from it's diversity and speed at which it can be done, along with a LLW's (and mages in general) ability to use nearly any tech weapondry at the same ...

Interestingly enough, this is one of the ONLY excesses my players didn't decide was a great idea to indulge in when they were in Atlantis.

I agree with Dark Brandon (at least, his initial post). Men at Arms should be better men at arms than mages. I'm fine with the two being relatively balanced combat-wise (for example, I have no problem with a mage being able to defeat a headhunter), but this should be done in different ways. Men at ...

What's wrong with Nega-Psychics? I don't see anybody complaining about Psi-Stalkers (other than the HP to MDC thing in RUE). It's the same concept. Over time, repeated exposure to supernatural, magic and psychic threats has triggered an evolutionary response for dealing with these problems. It's an ...

I imagine a lot of the time, CS boot camp isn't really 'boot camp' so much as a conscription service. "Here's how the CP-40 works, here's how your armor fits ...
