Focus fire from a 10 man cs squad will put a hurt on you REAL fast. A sound tactic except that it only works so often before ut starts coming off as NPC metagaming. It's the same way the opponents in D&D game target the casters always bypassing dangerous foes. Such tactics can be used though in...

palladium's system makes powergaming relatively easy to figure out and involve much less twisiting the intent of things in the system so there's less of a negative stigma in this system. honestly i think very few rifts powergamers see what they're doing AS powergaming- they're just playing the game ...

if you want to take shots at specific part without aiming, my house rules on shooting were "non aimed/wild shots are a flat roll and are aimed always center of mass, taking non-aimed shots at a specific part counts as firing wild"

I mean, if you aren't consistantly leaping into close combat, abusing entanglement and body flips while dodging gunfire and letting it hit the people you're fighting, then striking from behind the people you've forced into facing the other way, are you really playing a juicer correctly?

anyways, in regard to OP's original question, i think it's just the WI-GL8 doesn't factor in the weight from the ammo drums like the WI-GL4. the two weapons are visually identical but the -GL8 doesn't have an integral ammo drum so i think they forgot to factor the weight of the larger ammo capacity ...

honestly, this doesn't seem to be a transmutation spell, it just lets you phase through the earth similar to how earth elementals do.so i'd assum it lets you see through the matter you're phasing through to some degree as well. and i wouldn't let any spell that doesn't state it restores your body do...
