I'm actually experimenting with this right now. As of now I have Necromancers left alone by the zombies and using animated dead to steal control of them for a limited time. It flat out says it hits and does double damage. You just quoted it. And page 185 says it inflicts double damage. Not to mention conventional RPG wisdom always has it hit and inflict double. You are playing a pedantic approach here and it beats me has this has garnered the attention it has. If it al...

I've been having that issue through the holiday season. But all one can do is work to make the campaign and watch them come. My Nightbane game rich now has the group on Seattle after leaving a UR safehouse and hearing about three "Terror Attacks". Going to use these to introduce the ADA.

Dark Places has a decent section on Sewer's, but this section is mainly geared to how it would work in Reads Reign. Even the zombies focus a bit on how they would be in sewer's. Also has a decent section on railroads and some decent tables. All in all, a decent book. Endless Dead is well worth it. S...

The Dead Reign main book states that a zombie must kill you for you to become a zombie, states so on page 29. The general problem, as has been pointed out is how the zombies are already to fraking tough. Increasing HP only compounds that, decreasing SDC doesn't make them all that weaker. The rule in question is just one of many in Dead Reign that makes no sense.
