Re: Can bats have 4 hands?
Extra limbs (20 Bio-E) for a set of fully developed arms and hands is already an option. And I imagine the presumption is that one pair are in the wings. Really, this is more of the GMs call how they choose to play that decision; I'd hate to rules lawyer over a point just because something is or isn...

Re: Apprenticeship question
I've often found that a properly run AtB campaign will usually slay about 1 in 3 members of the party when played right. However, I usually use the PFRPG or Rifts Conversion recommendation to learning new skills with that 5000 xp level zero option. It can get to be a little tricky though.

Re: I wish AtB was more supported/popular
With the activity here on the boards, what makes you feel like AtB isn't well supported? Perhaps more discussion of it involving the Rifter Forums would supply more support. Perhaps even selecting a location that has no World Book yet and start a discussion on what to do with it? Really shouldn't it...

Re: Rifters with ATB material?
Hiya VR, For the older Rifters, I generally go to DriveThruRPG.com and enter Rifter After the Bomb into the search and it isolates those Rifters with the material. I generally go their because I no longer have the room to carry so many books around. PDFs can keep on a flash drive and allow me to pla...

Re: Kaiju in AtB2
Kaiju are Godzilla type monsters. 40 story high leviathans putting one into the game would be a little awkward. Really it would be more of a plot piece to try and find something to lure the monster away are cause it to be restored to humanoid size before it leveled a city.

Re: Road Hogs Natural Mechanical Genius redux help request
Just my two cents here. Razorwing's point is valid, so I'll just acknowledge that. And I understand the challenge is to create a Natural Mechanical Genius skill or apprenticeship skill to negate it as a psionic ability, yes? I suppose we all agree as a skill in the Palladium System it max. at 98%, s...

Re: name my Charater
Wow you have 150 species in the super family to choose from. Though they have six eyes in three paired sets. Were you intending to use that as a genetic aberration for your character? If so he could carry around the nickname 'Six eyes' and might make him angry, lol; or her, since arachnids tend to b...

Re: After the Bomb Campaign Ideas
Thanks for noticing the return Danger Man. I half expected to see a name change consistent with the world, like 'Sail-um' or 'Shell-em' something rather silly like that. Perhaps 'Snail-ham' since it's in the garden state. Sorry for two short posts in a row. My wife just got some very bad news so I'v...

I could see having a wonderful spin-off from this idea. Why not use peacocks, since the male feathers have an eyeball in each and they are considered quite beautiful fowl.

Re: The empire of domesticated animals
I do have one questions. Why the Rhode Island Reds for all air force compatibility. Wouldn't homing pigeons be a preferred choice for more expensive equipment, like helicopters and such? The reds would want to pick a fight regardless of the odds, where the homing pigeon could still fly the helicopte...

Perhaps two thoughts of basic options:
Lupinoid (pronounced 'lup-aye-noid')
Arachin (pronounced 'ae-rak' in')
A species of spider may give us something more to work with.

Here is an old sketch I had rendered while on down time offshore. Someone left a pencil stick figure on a sketch pad so I took it and made this freeze stance sketch of my namesake character, it might be fun to photoshop it up one day: http://th02.deviantart.net/fs51/200H/f/2009/334/e/3/Cedric_Doodle...

Re: After the Bomb Campaign Ideas
I may have to just say it, curse you Danger Man. I read and looked over this material and poured over it until 2:30 last night. I like what you did with this and, I hate to admit it, but it made me realize how little of my own imagination is going into the table games I am running as a GM; so thanks...

Re: Two Dragon Hatchlings in a party
I may be a little late in posting on this topic but there are a couple other options that seem to come to mind that can supply a means to help curb the group's over balance without necessarily being too great a challenge; many of them have been around for some time. Perhaps the most significant has ...
