G, I think you are like most fan boys...going to complain no matter how good the movie is...since it did not include something that only a ubber fan would know about. 1-2 weeks for national power grids. Small communities that have local power, maybe a week longer. But the big thing is, once the humans go, the power falls rather quickly.

My Natural Genius has taken out several invulnerable characters. One he had to kill by using a epoxy spray into the guys mouth that expanded to fill all open voids. Really hard to breath when your lungs are filled with a construction foam.

3-4 to start with is a good start. Alot of what happens after the start is depending on what the players do.

In one case, when my players did not have an idea, I would role on randomn encounters that I had. They usually did not like them as I tended to go full force on hurting their characters.

Both are correct, but sometimes I as the player like to dodge the first round just to see how strong the NPC is.

Sometimes I even have to remind the GM, that NOT ALL bad guys know how my character fights.

It really depends on the ingenuity of the players. If they do not have a techinical imagination, then the character will not be "all that". With the proper player, the NG can limit and or expand other players. And in some cases, use them as chess pieces.
