At least I found out why twitch dropped half way through the game. Looks like WOW internet and cable was down from Saturday night to Sunday night through all of lower Michigan. So hopefully I'll be able to watch the next one live again.

Personally (and this is just me), ever since I read Thunder Cloud Galaxy, I'm always considering if high concentrations of magic give off Magical Radiation (M-rads), possibly visible to those who can see ley lines or magical energy. Or at least it seems to me sleeping Old Ones could give off M-rads....

I still like bielmic's sliding scale idea best. It just looks playable and paintable, which is what I want. It looks like 15mm is way too big. 10mm would be preferable to 15mm, but still not ideal.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember Darkest Heart being thick forest. That was the one that was kind of a dimensionally warped and bigger on the inside than the land actually covered wasn't it? Not that there's any way I can think of to show that on a map... maybe some mysterious mist surround...
