City of Char
So my group's player characters are going to be arriving in the City of Char, just north of the Dinosaur Swamp, this weekend and I was wondering if anyone here has either run a group in Char or been to Char as a PC. If so, what happened while you were there?

Re: City of Char
visited there as part of a Convention game run by the author when the book came out.
we got confronted by a Sunaj kill team looking to capture an NPC we had rescued. ended with a near TPK as our SAMAS pilot detonated two crates of plasma grenades and vaporized the kill team, all but one player and the NPC we were protecting, the tent-bar, and pretty much the entire central section of the city.

Re: City of Char
I've had missions like that....we set the atmosphere of a planet on fire.

"Trouble rather the Tiger in his Lair,
Than the Sage among his Books,
For all the Empires and Kingdoms,
The Armies and Works that you hold Dear,
Are to him but the Playthings of the Moment,
To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"

That was Carmen Bellaire who string detonated the plasma grenades. Fun times.
Insert 400 character limit here.

So THAT's why the fire insurance for a new business in Char is so high!
