Re: Galacticon... Valparaiso, IN Oct 18th
We had a great time!
We played 5 of the 6 games scheduled (partly because I had a long conversation with several people about the game that didn't have time to play but stood and talked to me for 40 minutes...lol).
We even had Batman show up and play Robotech Tactics and even stick around for a game of Heros Unlimited!
The games went very well. The Zents only lost one game out of the five. Three were very close games and the UEDF took the last game decisively. We had a large amount of interest from random players, 40K tournament players, and the event organizers. Our set up stole the show as none of the other mini games there compared! Also, it was hard to argue with a Zentraedi Officer walking around! (Pete came in his costume for the Cosplay Competition).
Special Thanks to NMI who came a played a great game of Heros Unlimited that ended with a flying manhole cover...Yea!
Double Special Thanks to Palladium for supporting the MAs and everything we do!
Now for the pics:

Now we have a good commited core group of 5 players that will get together and play Tactics on a regular basis (of course some of them will have to wait for the retail version). The game store owner that sponsored this con is very interested in supporting this game. We will be regularly running demos at his store.
I would call it a success!
