paint hexcode chart

Unread post by glitterboy2098 »

discussion of RTT in another forum i frequent pointed out this website with color hexcodes and the equivalent 'brand name' color designations for the major hobby paint lines.

Minibits - Paint hexcode chart

this should be of great help in figuring out what paint varieties to buy to duplicate the official color schemes (or at least getting very close)

speaking of which.. this topic might be a good one to pin, so it doesn't get lost. :)

edit: Tamiya brand charts:

edit:
and here as well.. a slightly updated version of the minibits chart hosted at dakkadakka with the new citidel paint line names..

any other brands i need to look for?

Man, wish I'd know about this earlier. Went to buy paint today using only the info in the book and didn't get anywhere.
